The Great Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to the Great Pumpkin Patch and JoAnna, Melvin, and Owen were in town, so they joined us (Jayson's sister, her husband and son).
Our little rooster, who, although not up at the "crack of dawn," is our own little alarm clock.

Bailey & Cousin Owen

My little pumpkin is growing so tall! (She wasn't too happy having her feet in the dirt).

The "cornbox" was a blast and went much better than I expected. She was playing in the corn box for 15 minutes or so before she decided to try and eat the corn!

Owen--what a trooper. He's 5 months old and not quite sitting on his own. So, at first we propped him up with corn and he soon fell back, but he didn't seem to mind!

Family picture on the haystack pyramid.

JoAnna, Melvin, Owen, Jayson, & Bailey.

Another family picture.

Bailey isn't the only one who had fun. I got my first married pumpkin and I'm excited to carve it. We're even planning on going back one night to let her play some more in the cornbox and go on the hayride. It was a fun experience and I can't wait until next year when she'll be old enough to go on the train ride. I think this will become a family tradition as long as we are here.

Neat-O place! I love the corn kernel idea. We have a big ol' tupperware full of dried beans that we sit Wyatt in - kids & texture - they love it!

Looks like so much fun! I love pumpkin patches. I think we're going to make it a yearly thing to. Except try out a new one every year. Bailey looks like she had fun.
