We've been bored staring at the same old walls, so Friday we took a day trip to
Sutter's Mill in
Coloma. I remember going there in elementary school and thought it would be fun to go again.
Melvin and Owen joined us, and even though it was hotter than we expected we had a good time.

She would not stay still!

Jayson looked it up and it's a 1/2 mile long!
The monument of James Marshall, founder of the mill and the gold.
Poor thing didn't know when to stop!
By the end of the day, we all looked like this--hot and tired. But we had a good time looking around looking and just being out.

What a fun day trip even if it was hot. I like the shorts and shirt. Mom B
