Jayson and Bailey treated me super special this weekend. I didn't just get a day, but I got a whole weekend. Jayson made me breakfast Saturday and tried to take care of Bailey as much as possible. We went on a leisurely drive to Lemoore to visit his park. Then we deviated from our normal restaurant (Applebees), went to Chili's and had a supper yummy lunch. When we got home, I got a wonderful nap! Unfortunately, from there things didn't go as smoothly as planned, but still good. Bailey's got a little cold, so we were up every 30 minutes to an hour during the night changing her position (she kept rolling over and crying because her nose was stuffy) or sucking out the ickies in her nose.
On Sunday, Jayson made my breakfast again. Yum, yum! Even though it was my first mother's day, I went to Sacrament Meeting by myself. The primary sang and since I'm the pianist, I kinda had to be there (Jayson stayed home with Bailey). After Sacrament Meeting, I went home so Jayson could go to Priesthood and teach. Even though I saw Mother's Day going somewhat differently in my head, I still had a fabulous day, and feel oh, so, lucky to have such a wonderful husband and daughter!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you WONDERFUL MOTHERS!
