I don't particularly enjoy shopping, but I braved the crowds and chaos of Black Friday to do a little shopping and get Bailey's 1 year pictures done. And, I have to say not too bad. I just might venture out again next year.
I got Bailey's pictures done at Target. Anticipating craziness, I had hoped that the photo studio would be less crazy, and it was as we were the first appointment. After her pictures, I decided that since I was there I might as well get some much needed items that I had been putting off getting (because who wants to go to Target on Black Friday, right?). The craziest place in the story? The toy section! But once I was done there, the rest of the store was fine. The lines were even super short. Talk about a well-oiled machine! Every single cashier was open and there was just one line, so there ended up being absolutely no waiting. Woohoo! Is every Target like this?
Then it was off to the shoe store to get Bailey her first pair of shoes. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Boden!
Beverly's wasn't too bad either (craft/fabric store).
Maybe next year I'll brave some other stores!
