Nostalgia

Monday I attended the funeral of a very sweet woman who I have known all of my life. She is the grandmother of Brianne, one of my best friends growing up (you can read her sweet tribute to her grandma here). I spent many a Sunday Dinners at her home with Brianne, as well as summer days playing on trampoline or going out to the lake to ski. While at the funeral I had the opportunity to see so many individuals who played an important role in helping me become the person that I am.

To all of you, THANK YOU!

But, seeing some very good friends, who haven't seen in YEARS (as in too many to count and we're not that old!), I've been feeling very nostalgic. So, I'm sharing some fond memories growing up in the Foothills and North Highlands 1st Wards.

Me, Brooke, Katie, Brianne
"Do You Wanna Dance" Dance for the ward talent show.

Becky, Katie, Me, & Brianne during Mutual

After a church dance
John, Katie, Jesse, Me, Summer, Kim, John, and ?

I had so much fun with all of these people, and think of them often. My childhood and teen years would have been very boring without them.

This is so sweet! Thank you for sharing, I love it.

Those pictures are so awesome. My word, I miss you & our friends, too. Can't believe I couldn't make it back for the funeral. :( I heard it was beautiful. We got to experience most of it at a service in Idaho yesterday. Did you not totally bawl during my Dad's life sketch and during Kal's song?!! Gosh!

Good luck with this last stretch of pregnancy! xoxo!
