I can't believe I'm down to single digit weeks because it still seems so far away. In some ways I'm the time doesn't phase me. And, in others I'm freaking out. There is still so much to do, but I don't seem to be in any hurry to get them done. Here's a laundry list of what needs to be done:
--Go through the hand-me-down clothes and decide if I have enough of the right baby clothes. How warm do I need to keep this kid? (It was easy to figure out what Bailey needed since she was born in December.)
--wash baby clothes
--crawl into the garage rafters and bring down the crib
--crawl back up into the rafters and find the crib mattress
--put the crib together
--find the box with the crib linens and then wash them
--crawl back up into the rafters and find the infant seat
--inspect the infant seat and clean as necessary (figure out how to get the seat cover off to wash)
--install the infant seat in the car
--ween my 2 year old off of bottles (yes she still drinks from bottles)
--get diapers and pacifiers (maybe, I don't know if this kid will get a pacifier)
--go to Utah (not for any particular reason, just because I want to and to break up the monotony)
All of this with a very stubborn 2 year old, who wants to help with everything. Hopefully the next 7 weeks will go quickly.
