11 Months

Eli has accomplished a lot in the past month. The BIG one, though, is he's started WALKING (see the previous post)!

We're getting ready and anxious to put him in a forward facing car seat. He no longer really fits in his infant seat. We have to pull the straps all the way out to get his arms through them, but there's not a lot of strap left so it's a bit difficult, especially when he wiggles!

He's working on 2 of his top molars, and again mom and dad are waiting for them to come in all the way so he can start eating more solid, adult food.

I swear he's talking, too. Whenever he falls it sounds like he's saying "Uh-oh." I also think I hear "Ow" every now and then.

Eli loves to chase Bailey around the house yelling, "AHHHH".  It's very entertaining. He's also gotten the hang of pushing his cars around on the floor. Every time I watch him do this I think what a big boy thing it is to do; then I remember he is a big boy and no longer my baby. I get sad for 5 seconds and thenI look at him again and think how happy I am that I get to watch him do these big boy things.
