First Month Firsties

Is Bailey really a month old already? The time has flown by so quickly. I look at her and think how tiny she is, but then I look at her 1 day old pictures, and she has grown so much in such a short time. I don't think I'm ready for how fast she's going to grow. I wish I could just stop time!

Bailey has begun to do so many things, and I'm quite impressed with my one-month old daughter! Here are some of the new and exciting things Bailey is doing:

She loves to make noise! She grunts, coos, squeals, squeaks, sighs! All sorts of noise!

She loves getting a bath. She wasn't too keen on the sponge bath she was getting when she first came home from the hospital, but she sure does love sitting in her bath now.

She loves to grab things when she's being held or fed. Most of the time it's either my finger or the neck of my shirt.

She's started to smile. I've been trying for days to get a picture of her smiling and I finally hit the jack-pot (see above)!

She's starting to follow people and respond to her name. Today, she was lying on the floor and she followed Jayson (moving her head) as he walked by her into the kitchen.

She tries to hold her head up. She's not quite there yet, but she will be!

So many little things. I can't believe how much she's growing, but is sure it super fun to watch her discover her new world and all she can do.

Wow, she looks so much like Jayson in this picture. What a cutie!

I know what you mean about being so tiny and yet BIG at the same time! If only we could freeze time and enjoy the newborn-ness longer. I guess thats why we just have more kids. Because of course, every new stage is so exciting and sweet just as the first. Enjoy the journey!
