After a brief visit with my doctor, she decided that I needed to spend some at the hospital and get replenished. So I checked into Labor and Delivery a little after 1:00, and was soon hooked up to an IV. I received 3 liters of IV and some medication (it's called a suppressant). Boy did I start feeling better. I was able to eat an entire turkey sandwich and keep it down. Food! At last! I was released about 5:30 and went home and ate another meal, all while keeping it down. I'm so excited!
My doctor gave me medical leave for the rest of this week and next week, and I see her again next Wednesday, so we'll see what happens. I was given a prescription for the suppressant to take at home, and it seem to work. The only problem is I want to sleep and I feel a little loopy. But compared to the nausea and vomiting, I'll take sleepy and loopy.
We did get an official due date: December 12th!
