Day 2--New York City

Our second day on the East Coast (Thursday the 10th) started early because we were headed into New York City. We drove to the train station in Stamford, Connecticut and then took the train into Grand Central Station.

Jayson, Bailey, & I split from Kim, Jay & the kids and went our separate ways. We headed to the Chrysler Building.

After leaving the Chrysler Building, we found ourselves jumping on the subway (which I was totally comfortable with after being in Europe way back when!) and headed to Central Park.

I've heard a lot about the Carousel in Central Park. And while it was fun, & Bailey's first carousel ride, it was a typical carousel.

While in Central Park, we hooked back up with Kim, Jay, and the kids. We then all went to FAO Schwartz together.

Once we were done at FAO Schwartz we got back on the subway and headed downtown to see the Empire State Building. We did not go to the top to the observation deck because of visibility (really low cloud coverage).

After leaving the Empire State Building, we jumped back on the subway and returned to Grand Central Station to catch the train back to Connecticut. It was an exhausting day, but so much fun!
