Friends, SLC, & the "Y"

Last Tuesday, the 23rd, Bailey and I (along with my mom) drove to Utah where we met Jayson and Kim and Jay and the kids. I was so glad to see Jayson again, and so was Bailey. Her little face lit right up when she saw her daddy! We spent two days in the "valley" before heading down to Cedar City for the Bailey Family Reunion.

I was able to see one of my bestest friends, Lindsey. We lived together my last semester at BYU. We just clicked and have remained good friends ever since. It was fantastic seeing her, meeting her little boy Ethan, and introducing her to Jayson.

We went to Temple Square and toured the Conference Center.

We also went to the "Y". It was great fun walking the campus with Jayson and showing him everything. We went with Kim, Jay, and the kids and Kim and I had to go to the JKHB (Jesse Knight Humanities Building) where we spent so much of our time. The outside looks exactly the same, but the inside--not so much. They must have gutted the inside and rebuilt the whole thing, because it doesn't look anything like it did when I roamed the halls. It's much more pleasing now!
